Hello! We are writing to make you aware of an amazing new project being developed near you. London Grown Workers’ Co-operative is a new group established to design, build and co-operatively run an ecological food growing and educational hub that increases access to fresh, healthy food and community space. To achieve our aims London Grown are developing 7 acres of disused and abandoned land on the border of Haringey – known as ‘Pasteur Gardens’. We aim to develop a community asset with a market garden growing fruit and vegetables at the heart of the project. We are passionate about Pasteur Gardens being a space for all members of the community where everyone is welcome to participate and everyone has the opportunity to benefit. We will be hosting regular volunteering sessions and open days which everyone is welcome to attend.
